The Department of Mathematics, S.S.D Girls' College, Bathinda, was established in 1966. It has grown to be one of the best Departments of Mathematics in Indian Universities. The Department has ten faculty members who are very hardworking and believe in quality rather than quantity. The Department is boon to have efficient, qualified faculty who continuously update their knowledge as per the requirement of present world technology and forward the fruitful knowledge to the students. They specialize in various areas of algebra, analysis, and applied mathematics. Our faculty regularly participate in national and international conferences. We offer B.Sc. CSM, M.A./M.Sc. program in Mathematics. The Department is consistently achieving more than 95% results in all the courses offered. Students have achieved the zenith of success under the guidance of worthy management and the respected Principal. They are placed in various renowned companies like Infosys,Banks,Public and Private Sector, Universities and Colleges.
